My Weak Week End

There has been long since I went to K room to sing with Bill alone. Yes, I hate singing K. I just enjoy singing. Going to K room with a group of, say, 6 to 8 friends, means little to me. People there would spontaneously become crazy and tend to keep shouting into the microphone, no matter whether they can hear themselves or not. Pardon me for not joining something like this next time.

The lunch K lasted 3 hrs, which seemed too long for 2 weak-throat persons like us. Soon after that I found my throat burning. It should probably be the inflammation ...

I rented 3 VCDs to watch at home. They are Borat, 傷城 and DOA. The 1st two are amazing, especially Borat, making me non-stop laugh out loud. Of course, DOA sucks. Hot girl wearing bikini fight each other and kill bad guys without a tiny drop of blood.

I am tired, weak and have a soar throat.

Mind Gap

These days Miss OT has kept showing other CS her formal dressing, claiming that Boss told her "you got it right!" the day all were requested to dress formally. Fellows apparently won't express any interest or comment on her act. It's just up to this lady with the unprescedently high OT record. Hope she could be more professional.

I have a certain connection some extend in mind with Stephen. We read the mind of each other sometimes. Today, we were chating during lunch:

me: Bill and I played bowling with Henry this Monday.
S: Henry? The one who just broke up with his girlfrined recently.
B: Yes.
S: Why not offer him a 順水推舟?
B: What?
me: We won't. He IS my good friend.
S: Wahahahahah ~~~
B: ??? What're u laughing for???

I tell you what. The conversation should be interpreted like this:

S: Why not offer him a 順水推舟? (Let's introduce our lonely Miss Crocodile to him!)
B: What? (I don't have a clue what you are talking about)
me: We won't. He IS my good friend. (and I won't push him to the hell)

Put Your Heart into Your Job

For the very first time Boss formally blamed (and scolded) the whole CS team. It is easy to see Boss critizing lab guys' malpractice anytime, but it has come to CS finally.

Days before that meeting, Boss requested all CS to reply his email, answering what they think is the essence of customer service. This question can't be more stupid, while in the meeting he revealed that the model answer should be "Putting your heart into your job". Just that simple. Boss is right.

The meeting of course is somewhat triggered by a compliant for which some black sheeps had to be responsible. 6 out of 12 quotations issued contained mistakes, and, worst still, some of us foolishly informed the client we lost 1 of his samples (in fact we didn't). I can't image a guy with normal IQ taking such an act.

After the meeting, the black sheep still blamed on someone else in front of other CS. He has already provoked many colleagues in CS and lab. That guy is inconsiderate, unreliable and ...... has no heart.

The only thing he has is halitosis.
