Hay Time

Yesterday I attended the Wedding Benquet of Hay, our currect Assistant Project Manager at night. The banquet dinner started at 8pm and i arrived the restaurant at 7:30. it was my first time to attend wedding benquet without being accompanied by my family members. I had have no idea what i should do before attending. mama had instructed me to prepare a 人情, which is best in the format of gift certificate that can be converted into cash. but i didn't think i have time to buy certificate in the bank so i decided to use cash instead.

after i handing over my 人情 and signed my big name at the reception, the beautify "Sisters" told me that my colleagues who had arrived were at that moment playing majong and i headed to look for them. there stephen, debby, croco and e-wing were competing with each other. i had no great interest in majong, so i just sat still to wait for the time of dinner.

at 8:00 our team rushed towards the stage to take a photo with Hay. he looked incredibly handsome that day and it was the first time i met her wife. it was amazing to hear that the two of them had been in romantic relationship for 9 years before marriage.

we soon took our seat after dinner as the dinner was about to begin. the boys, including me, were all surprised and impressed by my direct "little girl boss" vincci's not-wearing-glass look! she looked superbly decent. stephen was the most crazy one and eager to take photos with vincci. she was extremely shy and embarressed by our reaction. haha~ the scenario was so funny!

the dinner started and the 2 MC materialized on the stage to give a general speech which it seemed nobody cared. then it came to a video recorded at the day of wedding. in the video, hay and his "brothers" kept doing sth on-9 funny tasks requested the wife-side and it made many attendants there laugh out loud.

after the video the cuisine was handed out one by one, of course beginning with fried pig (the pig head was taken back home by stephen after the banquet) . most of the dishes were edible for me and i felt satisfied. our team kept chatting and joking through the dinner. some of us, including but not limited to stephen & e-wing, were drinking heavily and pushing others, especially girls, to drink with them. yes, as expected.

at that night apparently e-wing drank the most and all his responses were delayed owing to the effect of alcohol. but thanks god, he didn't did any stupid or aggressive things. (later we heared from croco he vomited on they same way home)
